If you want to kickback and forget the past 18 months of madness, then why not join us?

If you're lucky enough to know someone on the lane, this private event is happening again - and by invitation only - you're welcome to join us in our summer celebrations. You can come for an hour, the whole shebang or make a long weekend of it, camp and enjoy the full festival experience. Whatever you choose we need you to register using the booking form here!

The music starts at 1.30pm - and we intend to go on until late

An overview of everything is on this page so scroll down and see what's going on!

Bands and music

We've organised bands to play throughout the day and evening, hopefully the weather is as good as we enjoyed at the last LANEFEST in 2015. The band line up is published here, we may even be lucky enough to also have a DJ set or two! In between performances, you'll enjoy the playlists of the lane - the day, the vibe its chilled, family and friends (pets welcome too, so long as you keep them under control).

Just in case it's too hot!

We have booked a marquee, so whatever the weather you can come and enjoy the chilled atmosphere and catch up with old friends and make new ones. Bring a deckchair, sun lounger or blanket, the choice is yours - we'd love you to enjoy the day and we'll have a porta-loo or two, so it'll be the whole festival experience!

Food and drink on the day

We're organising a bar and some food to be available on the day via a voucher system. So there will be a bar and hog roast, but so we can have an idea of numbers we're having a pre-order voucher system. A book of x10 vouchers will be £25, and we'll price up drinks and food so we make a little profit (which will go to Julias House childrens hospice) once all costs are covered.

BBQ's, picnics & cool boxes full of booze

You're welcome to come prepared and bring your own food and drinks, gazebo and full patio furniture set if you've got room in the car! There's plenty of parking - so you'll not have to carry anything too far, and if you want to leave a car here and taxi back, that's fine too! (We just need to know which car belongs to who). BBQs will need to be off the grass (i.e. not directly on the grass) so if you're thinking of bringing a disposable bbq, bring one with the wire frame which lifts it off the ground.

Camping, glamping, camper van or caravan!

As it's the year of the staycation why not make a long weekend of it, we can provide access to the land from Thursday and you can stay until Monday - no campsite fee's but facilities will depend on your hosts, there will be the porta-loos.

Accommodation close by

There are a lot of hotels, B&B's and AIrB&B in our area, so I've put a list together on this page of the local hotels, B&B's etc.

Bring your swimming gear!

The pool will be available for anyone brave enough to take the plunge, typically this is the kids! But if it's warm, feel free to take a dip and cool off. The only point to make clear here is everyone is responsible for their own safety, and that of their children. We have some inflatables and the kids really enjoyed it at the last Lanefest!.

Most important of all, have fun!

It's been a challenging year and it will be nice to have the freedom to enjoy ourselves and party without worrying about social distancing.
